Observer’s Acknowledgement & interview nondisclosure

Boss Fire & Safety (the “Company”) and the “Applicant” agree as follows:

  1. The Applicant understands that they have been given a one-day period deemed an “observation day” for which there is no pay or compensation and will have no claims against the Company for wages, unemployment, worker’s compensation, or disability benefits.
  2. The Applicant understands that this is a follow-up interview to evaluate the requirements of the job for which they are applying in a behind-the-scenes manner.
  3. The Applicant understands that this is a voluntary activity during which they will observe the work being performed. If the Applicant chooses to help or participate, they are doing so of their own volition and without expectation of payment.
  4. The Applicant understands that this working interview does not constitute a job offer, is not officially hired, and will not be treated as an employee by the Company for purposes of federal, state, and or local taxes.
  5. The Applicant understands that if offered a permanent employment position, the Company and the Applicant will enter into a formal written agreement.
  6. The Company’s trade secrets may be disclosed during the interview process or as a result of the Applicant’s access to Company’s premises. Company’s trade secrets consist of information and materials that are valuable and not generally known by Company’s competitors. At all times, the Applicant will keep confidential and will not make use of or disclose to any third party any of Company’s trade secrets.
